Hello. I'm Anirudh Thakur — a developer and visual creator from the hills of Himachal Pradesh, where pine smoke, slow mornings, and old wooden temples shaped the way I think. I build quiet, beautiful things on the internet.

Full-stack web applications, generative visual workflows, automations, and the occasional oddball experiment. From community platforms to fitness trackers — if the problem feels interesting, I'm probably making something for it.

● HP Economic Survey RAG

Retrieval over fifteen years of Himachal Pradesh Economic Surveys — 4,400 pages of state government PDFs. The hard part is that every edition says roughly the same thing, so a 2019-20 question gets answered from the 2013-14 edition unless you make the year a hard filter. Published eval harness: year-precision 0.55 → 0.90, reproducible with no API key.

● Portfolio MCP Server

This site, exposed to AI agents as a Model Context Protocol server. Eight tools over the same data the pages render from — profile, projects, writing, services, free-text search — so an agent can be pointed at me and answer questions from the source instead of scraping HTML.

● AppleVille

A platform for people who wish to relocate to Himachal Pradesh and provides with lots of guides and tools to prempt different challenges like cost, availibility of resources and perks, and pros and cons of living in 8 towns for which we have gathered extensive data.

● HP Dump Spots

This platform allows people to report the garbage in their vicinity and it promotes social activism and community engagement.

● HillRun

An endless runner that takes Himachal seriously — twelve devta shrines to fill, a chai stall that banks your apples between runs, and an HRTC bus you learn to hear before you see. Built with Phaser and TypeScript.

Fifteen years of Himachal Economic Surveys, indexed so a question about one year gets answered from that year. No vector database — 4,394 chunks is a numpy matmul. Ships the ablation matrix and a 104-question eval set that reproduces without an API key.
